Open XCS/xTool Studio software and import either the .xcs or .svg file. Check the setting to ensure they work with your laser machine. Size can be increased or decreased, depending on your preference. Lay your material (wood, acrylic, etc.) on the honeycomb or slats, depending on your machine, adjust the settings accordingly for your machine.

Make sure only 1 side of the ornament is selected to cut/engrave.

Step2

Once your first side is cut/engraved. Keep your wood/acrylic sheet on your honeycomb or slats as this will hold the ornament in place when you flip the ornament over.

Flip your ornament over and so that it will fit back in like a puzzle piece on the sheet.

Return to XCS/xTool Studio.

When working on the back of the ornament, make sure you don't cut the ornament outline a 2nd time, keeping the output off of the cut, but turning on the engraving/scoring for the back circle and lettering. Make sure to line up your ornament using the image assist with the cameras on your laser so that you are putting the lettering in the right spot on the back of your ornament.
