Once everything lines up perfectly, attach it in place and press gently so it sits flat.

Align them evenly, then attach and press gently so they sit flat and centered.

Place the assembled rings into the center opening of the main piece.
Align them evenly, attach, and press gently until everything sits perfectly in place.
