To make this design I used shape - square with rounded edges of 200mm and then its contour in -20, I selected the two and hit combine - subtract. I made a copy of that frame and saved it for later.

Later I used insert - rectangle to make the two bars that will hold the hearts. Then I used 40mm heart shape and copied three times, so that you have a total of four hearts. We are going to place two on the bars at the height we want and the other two we reserve for later. Once we have the hearts in place, we select a bar with its heart and click on combine - join, we do the same with the other.

Now we take the bars and place them in the place we want within the frame. Select the entire image and click on combine - join. We already have everything together.

For the frame fill I used shape - pattern and used the seventh from the right column. This is the most laborious part of the process. We're going to create the frame with this pattern. To do this we have to add the pattern and join it with another pattern, selecting the two and clicking on combine - join. Repeat this process until you have the frame the same size as the project frame (200mm). Once we have it, we put it on the frame that we reserved before. We select everything and click on combine - join in overlap and it will be with the shape of the frame. In the parameters you can select if you want to mark or save it (in this case I hit mark), move it and put it inside the original frame.

Then I added the word mom made with the font "joseph sophia" that I downloaded in Dafont. So that there would be no problem, I have put it as a vector.

The last thing left is to engrave the hearts. In this case I have put the name of the girl and the date of Mother's Day but you can put in each heart the name of a boy if he or she has two, or the name and date of birth, or name and date in each heart. This is up to each one's own choice.

I also added some supports to hold it. To do this I used a 40mm circle shape, then inserted a rectangle to remove half of the circle. To do this I put it on the middle of the circle, I gave it to combine - subtract. Then you have to make the hole to insert the project, for this I inserted another rectangle of 3 x 15mm, placed it together in the center at the top (for this I selected both shapes and hit align - center of alignment horizontal. Then I selected the shapes and hit combine - subtract and you have the piece to hold the frame in. I made three copies to have four because I put them double so that they had more consistency.

Once we have cut all the pieces, we are going to paint the word mom and stick it on the frame, glue the engraved hearts and glue the clamp to put the photo. Don't forget to glue the supports two by two.

Once we have everything, I spray matte varnish as I like to finish my projects like this but this is optional.

Finally, we choose a beautiful photo and place it on the clamp.

We already have our gift finished.

How happy mom is going to be!
