Carriage Mini Bar laser Cut

First time writing instructions, so bear with me. Actually, I'm writing the instructions from the 2 that I actually got made. I tried making 1 before this but I screwed up the sizing. I actually screwed up the sizing on the 2nd one also but not to the point that I couldn't make it work. 

Step 1: Downloaded the file into XTool Studio.

Step 2: Gathered the wood sheets, stained them front and back with Dark Walnut wood stain. Let them dry. It was quick because it was fast drying.

Step 3: Fit the project to the size of materials and machine that I have. That was a bit tricky because I didn't realize how to do that at first. I made the biggest mistake by not doing the sizing all together with all of the pieces at once. Third time's a charm. Included in this I tried to place the pieces in a way that would best use the wood and waste as little as possible.

Step 4: Set your parameters. I used what I like. I found what I liked through doing other projects and just applied them to this. So, if you have favorites for this type of wood, please use those. You'll be happier with the finished project.

Step 5: Cut. Wait. Repeat.

Step 6: Putting it together…if you do what I did the first couple of times; you may need to sand pieces down to get them to fit properly. I tried to keep all of the pieces with the parts that they go to. Like the top boomerang looking pieces have 3 parts connecting them. I have labeled where the pieces go, but which side doesn't really matter. They are interchangeable. Except the one piece for the top. There is a certain piece that has to go through the round hole. Also, that piece matches with the curved piece in the middle. It's self-explanatory when looking at it. I also made 2 more of the larger crowns so I could sandwich the one with the tab in the middle. It's a knob used to put it on and off. I wanted to strengthen it a little more as well as cover the hole. I used wood glue, E6000, and super glue. I had to get it done quick. I also used the left-over tabs as braces on the glass holders and most of the parts actually. I found it added strength and stability to the project. I then cut off the excess of all the connectors. It makes it much easier to glue the crowns on the wheels. You can put the wheels on any way you like. I put them on making it look like many spokes. I got the shot glasses from the Dollar Tree. I was thinking about engraving them too, but I ran out of time. 

Step 7: Put a bottle of wine in it.

Step 8: Give it as a gift or keep it for yourself!
