hand sew or machine sew bullet loops to backside.  mind the spacing that will be scored on the bullet loops.  should be 5/8" spacing on the stock cover and 1 1/16" on the bullet loops.  to do a different caliber you'll need to know the math for the spacing.  use glue and a rivet on the ends to anchor down the ends of the bullet loops.  leather should be skived down to about 3-4oz

add the grommets and lace it together.  

for a professional touch, use an edge beveler on the leather and dye and burnish all edges.
