      My first attempt at engraving metal - and my first turn using the chuck assembly on my RA2.

Step1

There are 4 canvases in this project because I attempted to make a tumbler for each member of the family and their likes/tastes. The two photographed worked out the best - the Terribly Crafty one worked fine except the hippo line drawing was too thin. The final Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure themed tumbler didn't really work and half the symbols didn't engrave at all. I probably had the settings wrong so it's back to the drawing board for that one!
