Information

      If you are tired of plain 2D engraved ornaments, this is a perfect project for you. It features 3 different snowflake designs that make the spinning ornament.
It is also very easy to make and assemble with great material use.
    

Instruction

Step1: Cut the parts

Cut the parts. Cut as many as you want to make. Be careful you don't lose the small brackets. Those hold the snowflake and allow it to spin.

Step2: Assemble

All three designs are assembled in the same way.

  1. Glue one bracket to the ring.
  2. Place the other bracket on to the snowflake. 
  3. Add a bit of glue on to the external ring, where it mates with the bracket.
  4. Carefully insert the snowflake in the glued in bracket. Slide in the bracket on the snowflake. The wood should allow for a small amount of bending without breaking, just go slow and careful.
  5. Make sure the snowflake is not glued. Try spinning it a few times while the glue dries.

Step3: Add a string

Add a piece of string through the hole. 

You are ready to hang the ornament.
