The Spring Festival is China's most important traditional holiday, and the Year of the Horse is just around the corner! During the New Year celebrations, Chinese people love using red decorations to add festive cheer. I made a red horse-shaped roly-poly toy, designed with two galloping horses side by side. It looks incredibly spirited and full of energy.
Instruction
Step1: Cutting Wooden Board Components
Download the corresponding XCS file and open it with xTool Studio. Adjust the dimensions to your desired size and select the line cutting mode. Refer to the recommended parameters for the xTool P2S: Power 60%, Speed 27mm/s, Processing Count 1. Complete the wood panel cutting.
Step2: Making A Roly-Poly Base
Cut a round wooden board in half and combine it with a suitably sized piece of wood to form a base. Key tip: Attach a pebble or other small, heavy object beneath the base to easily achieve a roly-poly effect!
Step3: Assembled and Painted Finished Product
Paint both sides of all wooden boards with vibrant red. Once the paint is completely dry, glue all components together in sequence. And just like that, your red rocking horses galloping side by side are complete! Wishing everyone a prosperous Year of the Horse and all the best in the coming year!
