Information

This modern Christmas tree is a stylish, abstract alternative to the traditional fir tree. Made from white-colored, flexible MDF combined with natural plywood, this Christmas decoration stands out with its flowing, spiral-shaped design and minimalist look.

The flexible MDF structure winds through several layers around a stable wooden core, creating a light and floating appearance. A geometric star on top completes the design. The neutral color palette of white and natural wood fits perfectly into modern, Scandinavian, and minimalist interior styles.

Ideal as a Christmas decoration for sideboards, windowsills, tables, or shelves – sustainable, timeless, and reusable year after year. Perfect for anyone who wants to celebrate Christmas in a modern way without a classic needle tree.

Instruction

1

Step1: Open file

2

Step2: Laser parts

After opening the file, you can laser the parts. Here I made the stand and the rod with the star on it out of 4mm plywood and the flexible strip out of 3mm MDF.

Step3: Stick strips together

Next, they glue the three parts of the flexible strip together. Here, they need to follow the order and use a good glue.

Step4: Coloring

After they have glued the strip together, they can continue with the paint. Here I only colored the flexible strip white, but you can do it according to your preferences.

5

Step5: Assemble

Once they have finished coloring, they can assemble all the parts. To do this, start threading the flexible strip onto the rod with the star. It is important to start with the top end of the flexible strip. After alternating and threading the entire strip, attach the rod to the base plate. Finally, they can also glue the top end of the flexible strip in the desired position.
