Information
These two natural stones were discovered along the shoreline of Lake Erie in Western New York, each shaped and smoothed by years of wind, water, and the slow patience of the lake. What started as simple beach finds became something far more meaningful through a blend of artistry and cutting-edge technology.
Using xTool’s Atomm AiMake, each design began with a minimal text prompt and the DepthMap feature — and the results were shockingly detailed. The fossil-style dinosaur etching and the perched eagle carving both emerged with incredible texture and depth, as if they had always been hidden inside the stones and just needed the right tools to reveal them.
The final engravings were created on the xTool F1 Ultra 20W Fiber Laser, producing crisp, embossed reliefs that look authentically ancient yet clean and modern. The contrast between the rugged stone and the precise engraving gives the pair a timeless, artifact-like feel.
These pieces celebrate nature, technology, and a spark of curiosity — proof that sometimes the right rock just needs the right moment (and the right laser) to tell its story.
