After failing miserably to make a globe, I pivoted and make a rotating beehive 2026 calendar.
Cut the file per your machine and materials. There are 2 canvases. One is the rings to stack on a crafting stick (wooden dowel) of your choosing. Adjust diameter of inner circle to fit your stick. If you are going to use a bearing inside the base like I did, then I suggest you use that diameter stick. The other canvas is the calendar and base. Use the new box builder software Xtool provides if you desire a different size or have different thickness material.
Do a test fit here to make sure everything aligns. I glued the bearing inside the box and held it in place with a stick. After that is dry, it is time to glue everything else. I started with the knob (made 4 rings to play with the look so choose what you like then cover with honey comb circle. I then glued the calendar tiles and added in the “ be positive” as a filler. Finally I added the worker bees and the queen.
Obviously you can decorate the box.
