Information
This elegant Christmas blanket tag is optimized for a beautiful engraved message and holiday greenery. You can build these in advance and customize the back of the gift tags quickly using any xTool laser. The Christmas tag can be easily edited (instructions included) to allow for only one direction of ribbon, as well. Created on the xTool F2 in 4 and 1/2 minutes, the file is workable on all xTool lasers and includes a video tutorial.

Step1
Open the file.
Load material (1/8th basswood) and ensure it is level.
Connect the machine and select the material.
Ensure the outer piece is set to cut and the laurel and words are set to engrave.
Auto-measure and position the design (PinPoint Positioning users will mark the processing area after measuring).
Choose settings for your machine (mine are below for the F2).
Turn on air extraction or air assist, if using, and process.
Clean with a wipe and sand (120 - 220 grit), if necessary.
Seal with a spray sealant, if desired.
Note:
- F2 Settings: Engrave - 85, 300, 100, 1; Cut - 90, 6, 1
- The F2 engraved and cut this design in 4 and 1/2 minutes.
- The AP2 or a strong inline fan and the F2 combination might result in having to pause processing and remove the tabs which are cut out when air is set to max. Reduce extraction levels to avoid this.
