I printed the picture—personally, I used glossy photo paper. You can resize it however you like, bigger or smaller, depending on your preference. I placed the photo under the top piece and traced around the outer part, slightly inside, so that if I made a mistake, the picture wouldn’t end up too small. Once cut, I trimmed a bit here and there to make it fit perfectly. You don’t need to be super precise since the top will cover the edges.

If you like, you can also color or decorate it however you want. 🙂 I put a few drops of super glue on the back of the photo to make sure it wouldn’t slip, then placed it onto the base. I secured the decorative top and added some super glue (wood glue works too) to the back, then aligned it perfectly with the base. And that’s it! You now have a cute little photo ornament that can hang on wood—sure to make anyone who receives it really happy. ♥
