I made this decorative copper wall clock in the shape of a sunflower using the Fibonacci sequence. You can customize the materials and hands according to your preference.
Laser cut according to the settings in the file. If you are using thin metal sheets, take measures to secure them in place to prevent deformation caused by high heat during cutting. (It is highly recommended that you perform a test cut in the corner of the material before the final cut to determine the optimal processing parameters for the specific material you are using. This step is essential—it will save you significant time and ensure the quality of the cut.)
Use a grinder or file to remove residue from the cut edges to ensure smoothness. (This step is essential if you are using metal sheets.)
Use sandpaper to sand the surface, starting with 320 grit until it becomes smooth.
Soak it in copper polishing solution to restore the metallic luster of the brass.
Once everything is properly prepared, install the movement you purchased, and it will be ready to use! Congratulations on creating a beautiful clock!! (Make sure the movement you bought fits into the hole. If not, you can adjust the hole size.)
