Using the Norton method of painting the tile with a Titanium Dioxide mixture that I learned from Wolf3510. Adding glue to the mixture helps scratching the surface while handling the tile. My mixture is 3:1:1 3 parts water 1 part glue 1 part TiO2 and about 10 drops of food coloring. The image was pulled from Grok and run through ImageR software to prepare the image for processing.
Ok, let's make this simple.
Step 1.
GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES
Step 2.
MAKE THE PAINT
In this step we make the TiO2 (titanium dioxide) mixture in a 3:1:1 mix. 3 parts water 1 part white glue and 1 part TiO2.
Take your container (I used 8 oz container) and measure 3 oz water, 1 oz TiO2, 1 oz glue and about 10 drops of the food coloring. Pour all of what you just measured into the 8oz container seal the lid tightly and shake it up well. you must get the Tio2 to be fully suspended in the water and glue mix. this should be enough to spray many tiles.
Step 3.
CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN
Take the tiles you want to paint and you need to clean them well. Use isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth to thoroughly clean the oils from the surface of tiles, do not touch the tile surface after cleaning.
Step 4.
PAINT THE TILE
Ok, now it time to pain the tile. I am not going into too much detail here. Simply use the airbrush to evenly coat the tile until you see a glossy even surface. it should not be running or dripping or pooling on the tile. Just a nice even coat spraying in opposite directions Left to right up and down.
Set aside to dry for a few hours and you will come back to a nicely even coat of TiO2 on your tile.
Step 5.
ADD YOUR IMAGE
Take the image you processed in ImagR and the tile you painted earlier and put the tile on your F1/F1 Ultra line up the tile for your image using the steps provided by Xtool Software. and fire away. the settings provided should get you similar results. the key is to get a crisp B/W image by adjusting the contrast, sharpness and gamma settings.
