Inspired by Lego bricks, I tried to design a perpetual calendar using slate and basswood boards. The date and month can be changed freely.
Step 1: According to the blueprint, first print the base of the calendar using the red light deep carving mode. For specific processing parameters, refer to the design blueprint.
Step 2: Carve and cut the front side of the date and month according to the drawing, using the blue light plane engraving mode. Then flip it over to the back side and use the blue light mode to deeply engrave the holes.
Finally, according to the different dates and week layouts of each month, the calendar is installed properly. When it comes to the next month, it can be taken down and reinstalled for the new month. Every month starts with one's own efforts, which is really great.
