This project uses 1mm Bass wood, the setting uses 3mm basswood, with the cut settings reduced to 45% at 10mm/s.  

Each decard is a layer, with the first layer includes all the template, the years.  This is not the layer which you use to laser, it is for your information or if you'd like to customize the engrave words.

each year is a layer, select the year, then ensure the laser settings are accurate to your machine

Step3: Assembly

Put the bottom two pieces together, then place your penny inside.  Once done, put the top piece (with the engraved years).  Use #6 screws to hold them together.
