Information

A modern spiral-style Christmas tree crafted from cardboard, cut into a continuous twisting form that rises upward and is topped with a simple star. The parts interlock cleanly to create a lightweight, sculptural decoration with a subtle 3D effect—easy to assemble and perfect for a minimalist holiday display.

I began by thinking about traditional Christmas symbols, which led me to create a simple, layered nativity scene that works well with flat materials. After that, I wanted something more modern and playful, so I came up with the spiral cardboard Christmas tree with a star on top. Step by step, my ideas developed naturally from what felt meaningful, easy to build, and visually interesting for the holidays.
