Information

This is a second version of a business card box I designed for delivering cards to my clients.
It has a more compact and snug fit, giving it a clean and minimal aesthetic.
The design cuts quickly on the xTool P2 and can be adapted to different card sizes or branding styles.

Instruction

1

Step1

I placed the cardstock on the honeycomb tray and ensured it stayed flat.
In XCS, I selected the correct processes:

Cut for the outer edges and tabs

Cutting the Box

I sent the job to the xTool P2.
The cardstock cuts cleanly at low power, so the cut was very fast and tidy.

5. Folding & Assembly

I folded along all score lines using a ruler to get sharp creases.
This box can be assembled using:

Glue

Double-sided tape

Or by simply locking the tabs (depending on the design)

Once assembled, the box looks minimal and professional.

Optional Add-ons

Add a logo or initials as a small cutout

Use metallic or textured cardstock

Add a vinyl sticker for branding

Adjust the height for thicker stacks of cards

Why I Made This Version

Some clients prefer a clean, compact packaging style.
This second model offers a sleeker look and fits the cards more tightly, which gives a more premium impression when handing off printed business cards.
