I used precut basswood business cards and engraved the months. I made the box using the website boxes.py and then added 2 layers in the front glued to the box to slide the individual month. The year numbers are also cut and glued to the front.

I had these wood business card shapes laying around and thought that it would be a good use of this material. So I made the months 1st then had to come up with something to hold them so a box. The slide in feature was all I could come up with to display the months.
