I made some christmas ornaments in star shape out of two different typs of wood. These ones are very easy to make, and you have not a huge material consumtion. Its perfekt to turn leftovers into something beautiful. The Material just have to have the same thikness.
Instruction
Step1
Before you start, make sure that you follow the safty instructions of your laser machine.
Make sure that you choosen the right settings for your material.
I used first a 3mm walnut plywood.
Make sure that your material have the same thikness.
Choose, for the blue colored parts, in the settings for cutting, kerf offset, compensated 0.1
Step2
Let the laser do its work.
After this change your material and start with step 1 again.
Step3
When you are ready with cutting you must have a lot of from these little parts in two colors.
Step4
Set the parts together like these. Use a glue that fits to your material. Let the glue dry well.
remove excess glue from the cutting surfaces whit a fine grid sandpaper.
Step5
Glue the parts together in the way you see on the picture. Let the glue dry well.
