Laser Cut Wooden Squirrel Keychain with Engraved Details

Choosing the squirrel in the animals section of the Xtool Studio, I put it in black layer.

As we want to engrave the inside of the animal, we will have to do some manipulation.

When we open the layer, we see that there are 2 elements, which make up this layer, the eye and the body of the squirrel.

If we release the compound, we see that the body is composed of 2 layers, 1 which represents the interior and the other: the outline.

So since we want the body to be engraved and the eye not, so we're going to start by taking care of the interior and the eye. To do this, remove the layer from the outer body (it's to be safe).

Once the layer is removed, select the body and eye, 

then click on subtract, to create a compound with the eye visible.

Select the squirrel, and create an outline of 1 around the body.

Once the outline is created, change the color of the layer.

To create the opening, take a circle in the basic shape/shape, size it and place it, where you like.

I placed it at the level of the tail.

The circle layer should be the same color as the outline.

Enter the settings in your Xtool Studio and launch the device

Retrieve your key ring from the device.

Clean it, treat it, mount it.

And put it on your keys, it will allow you not to lose your keys again.
