![[Laser cut and engrave] Designing a Full Tumbler Wrap](https://image-res.xtool.com/resource/xtool/community/attachment/xtool-community/8ecadf5f-3249-437e-93b1-f08c9b21b780/20240324_165537.jpg?x-oss-process=image/resize,w_200,h_150,limit_0/interlace,1/format,webp/auto-orient,1)

I had a pretty dark green tumbler that I thought needed to be wrapped in leaves. These are the steps I took to create a complete wrap.
A created a rectangle the size of the tumblers circumference and engravable height. I made a couple of leaves and started filling up the box. You can flip and rotate as needed to make it fit and look different from the surrounding leaves.
To much blank space looks odd so I like to fill it in. I used circles in 2 sizes for this but you can add anything that matches your project's style. Maybe stars, asterisks, etc. Fill in the empty holes and move them around until it looks uniform.
To break it up a little I think it's cute to do a few in relief. Pick out some of your leaves and add an outline, I went with .7. Move the outline to the back and then subtract the original image at overlap. Now you have a few outlined leaves in your design.

Combine your image into one
Set up your rotary and tumbler to engrave, this one was done with the chuck.
Make sure your framing box is ignored.
For dark tumblers I usually like to use 60 power/250 speed/100 lines/1 pass.
I LOVE how it turned out!
