Step by step an easy tutorial with Xtool XCS 2.0

We start with an circle
hold shift on the keyboard to create an equal circle

then click on edit node and pull the upper node slightly up

on the left side you have many of design from XCS
choose one

You can bend the design a little to adapt it to the shape from the edge
click on the design and then on the right there is the “lock aspect ratio”

here we have the problem that one design is transparent and you can see through the rear design
I'll show you a way to do that now

Click on the design and select Outline on the right-hand side
Set the distance of the cutting die to 0.5 mm (you can also select 0 mm to reduce the distance between the two motifs, but I find it nicer with a little distance)
then choose both of the design and click on the ride side on substract

There is a small area under the design that you want to delete,
Click on the design and then on "Edit nodes".
select all nodes of the overhanging part and delete them
