Information
Shrunk down this beautiful design to the size of an alcohol nip and added some design features to make it pirate themed. I used 2mm thin wood from Temu and made a bunch for a Halloween party. Insert the nip holder as the walls are being assembled. The wall with the * is for the top of the bottle. When assembling the top, I found doing 1 board top/bottom worked better than trying to align the other side with 6 inserts.
Using pliers helps with the hinges. Just wiggle the pin as you pinch or push down to align the holes. Have fun with it and design your own treasure chest !

Step1: Assemble pieces per original design
I tried to just drag and shrink the original, but my rough draft was terrible and the hinges didn't align. I reworked the measurements, after using calipers, and on my 3rd draft I nailed it.
