Instruction

Step1: Open the file in Xtool Studio

Design File Notes
•     The file contains two separate canvases:
•     One for leaves and pumpkins
•     One for letters
•     Color coding for xTool M1:
•     Red lines indicate cutting
•     Blue lines indicate engraving
This setup helps keep elements organized and ensures the correct operation type is applied during processing.

Step2: Cut the images

xTool M1 Settings for 3mm Basswood

Cutting:

Power: 95

Speed: 4

Air Assist: Full power

Engraving:

Power: 65

Speed: 150

Lines Per Centimeter (LPC): 120

Air Assist: Full power

These settings produce clean cuts and detailed engraving on 3mm basswood, especially with air assist, which helps reduce charring.

Step3: Add color and string

I used rich autumn tones painted with acrylics on each piece. Strung with sturdy baling twine for a rustic finish, it’s perfect for mantels, entryways, or festive gatherings.
