Spook Around& Find Out Halloween Decor

I purchased my basswood from amazon.

My first step was spray painting the wood with black spray paint purchased from Walmart. I did a couple of layers allowing drying time in between (a couple of hours).

After the wood was left to dry overnight, I placed the board in the machine and performed a touch test. Then use the “Mark Processing Area” to mark the wood.

Next, place the circle in your marked area (just the circle and the holes).

My settings were 75% power 13mm/s.

Next, grab a new sheet of wood.

Now you'll cut out the letters, the ghost AND engrave the ghost on this step as well.

Once you've gotten them cut. Paint the engraved portion of the ghost black and the rest white.

I grabbed painters tape (it's what I had on hand) and place the words onto the tape. Then spray paint the letterings.

The tape keeps the letters from flying.

Once the ghost and letters are painted and dried. The next step is to glue them onto your cut black circle board.

Last and final step was grabbing some lace and placing them in the holes to let the sign hang.

I also hot glued the lace (at the holes) to keep it from slipping through or moving.

Ta-da! All done!
