First thing I did was grab my 3mm basswood (purchased off amazon) and marked the corners to create the first box

After having that first box I laid my bamboo keychains (purchased from amazon) in the box and marked it again where the wood part of keychain is in a rectangular shape. Then did the same for the ring but in circular shape.

followed up by merging the rectangle and circle together.

3

Step3

Finally, I cut out the new merged rectangle and circle shapes to create a spot to insert my keychains.

4

Step4

Grab another sheet of 3mm basswood and place it underneath the one you just cut.

Glue them together to create 1 piece of jig.

Once the jig is created, then place your keychains inside the jig. Be sure to keep it on the 3mm basswood so you don't have to redo the jig every time.

You can create a jig to hold this jig (my hubby did that part and I don't know his process of it. I just created the new jigs that fit inside the jig he created for me.

6

Step6

Finally, after you've placed the bamboo keychains inside your new jig, you need to run a test grid on one keychain to make sure your settings will work on your machine.

My setting was 40% power and 250mm/s. But remember, each machine can vary.

7

Step7

Once the keychain has been engraved, I flipped it over onto the other side and use the same image to create a dual sided keychain.

8

Step8

Final step is wiping each keychain side with a baby wipe.

Now they get tossed in a container to be sold at a vendor show.
