Information
I needed to install some power outlets on a plasterboard wall and this made placement much more accurate before cutting the hole. Bang it on your wall, trace the center cutout and have at it with a hole saw. Cutout and side indents are suitable for placement of a standard steel mounting bracket on the back of the bottom half of the cutout. Scored line (black) indicates the outside of a standard plate and the outer cut includes the cover. I used a manila folder but cardstock or whatever you have at hand will work fine.
