When engraving on on this acrylic I always use gloves cloth gloves to handle the acrylic. I remove one side of the protective paper. I do leave on the back side to protect the acrylic when putting it on the honey comb bed. I do like to wipe over the acrylic with a micro fiber cloth just before I am ready to process. I also lay my acrylic on the prisms that came with my M1 even though I am using the honey comb. This help with any flash backs. I do have to sometimes do a manual measure.
