Made from 3 mm basswood with a black finish and a golden base trim, it adds a touch of elegance and symbolism to any display. Follow the images to mount the graduation cap base.
The last part is glued, and I used a rope to let the glue dry

I used black and gold acrylic paint with a standard brush.
For the gold line on the base, i applied a tape on the black part and the removed it.

Step4: Apply the metal clips
I bought standard metal clips such as these on Amazon.
Measuring the diameter of the clips is mandatory to customize the holes on the cap.
Mine were 2 mm.
