Information
This design was born from a dream and a deep need for clarity. I imagined an ancient oracle's altar, with a flame that never flickered, lit by insight, not fire. The central sigil channels intuition, protection, and transformation. I made this piece as a reminder to trust my inner vision, even when the path ahead is cloaked in shadow.
Instruction
1
Step1: Design Prep
Assembled design as vector in Illustrator and exported to XTS. (Already done for you.)
2
Step2: Wood Prep and Laser Work
Choose your wood and mask if desired; the settings included are for 3mm basswood. If the linework is darker than desired, you may need to turn down the power or increase the speed. If not masking, air assist should be on high.
3
Step3: After Care
Optional: Lightly spray with sealer and/or a lightly coated wood stain; one could also add paint or metallic fill to the moons and crystal.
