Instruction

1

Step1: Walnut pieces

I start with printing out the walnut pieces, which form the dark border of the boxes.  The pages are basically just 4 boxes stacked on top of each other.

2

Step2: Story pages

I print out the story pages on a harder basswood.  These pages will get framed with a lighter basswood material. The story pages also have the little clue chips that will fit in the first page box. b

Using the walnut pieces and the story pages (with frame glued on), you can make all but one side of the box.

Step3: mechanical parts

The last file contains all of the working pieces.  You should place all of the mechanical parts on first, before securing the page to the rest of the box.
