      A beautiful drink coaster with an inscription. A perfect gift for any mom who enjoys coffee or a warm cup of tea.

Instruction

Step1: Preparations for engraving

Preview

You'll need:

A stone tile (I bought the cheapest one from a local store)

Black acrylic spray paint

White acrylic spray paint (or another color of your choice)

Step2: Painting

Preview

First, we paint the first layer white (or another color). I used a fast-drying acrylic (10 minutes).
After 10 minutes, I applied another layer of white paint (this is not always necessary).
The next layer is black, which serves as the top layer of our coaster.
Once the coasters are dry, they go under the laser :)

Step3: Engraving

Preview

I used an IR laser for the awesome engraving. After about 5 minutes, the coaster is ready.
You can apply a layer of clear (matte!) varnish on top, but in this case, I decided not to.
