My first string-art project of a small snowdrop.

Step1: XCS file
Preview
Open the “.xcs” file in xTool Creative Space. There only one workspace you can open with the dot-preset.

Step2: Laser engrave
Preview
Add your coaster into the machine and align the design if required accordingly.
At the moment the scale is about 9cm in height (deviating from the coasters shown due to being to small with about 6cm).
Material
- Self cut pine coaster

Step3: Add nails and string
Preview
The dots mark the places to put in the nails.
Once all nails are in place tie a knot to one nail and start randomly connecting the strings to different nails.
For the last loop, go around the perimeter of the shape to create a nice border.
