Wood (your choice of type)

Acrylic (with optional 3M tape backing)

Steps:

Prepare Your Files

Open the file and double-check all settings are correct for your laser machine.

Cut the Wood

Place the wood into your machine.

Cut settings: 70% power, 16mm/s speed.

Cut the Acrylic

Place the acrylic into the machine.

Ensure the back of the acrylic is covered with 3M tape if you’ve chosen to use it.

Cut settings: 70% power, 16mm/s speed.

Engrave

For engraving, use 70% power, 550mm/s speed.

Assemble Your Keepsake

Once everything is cut, line the acrylic up with the correct position on the wood.

Stick it down carefully.
