Place your jewelry piece in the machine. Select the ruler icon to auto focus the laser. Next select the “golf flag” to define the processing area. Since this the piece I had was more rectangular I used that to map the area. I made sure to place the image within that area and where I wanted it placed. I then checked the processing area to double check. I modified the slate parameters for engraving - using a power of 48, 180 speed and increased the lines as this was a detailed piece to 180 lines per cm.
Process the piece. Since this was a jewelry piece I flipped the pendant over (like it would naturally spin) and made sure the image would be the correct side up. I reprocessed the image on the second side using the same settings but updating the processing area.

I used waxed cotton string and added 2 white accent beads. If you use other materials you may need to experiment on the settings. Good luck!
