cut out all the components in the relevant colours

Carefully separate the individual components which may still be connected to the surrounding plastic.

be careful you don't discard any of the small bits 

dry fit the components to ensure you have them in the correct orientation and begin gluing them into place.

The face can be tricky.

you can use tweezers or I find a blob of blu-tac works well
