Instruction
Step1: Resize, Customize, & Cut!
Optional - Select all elements and adjust to the desired size.
Optional - Ungroup and customize the quote.
Cut all the pieces using your laser cutter!
• Tip: Cut the door from wood that is thinner than the other parts—this ensures a smoother slide. (Use a caliper to measure and check the thickness before cutting.)
Step2: Prep & Paint
Glue the ridge pieces (rectangles) onto the door.
• Once dry, paint the door and all other parts in your desired colors!
• Finish with a lacquer of your choice for durability and a polished look.
Step3: Final Assembly
Begin assembling the door frame, ensuring the back piece has your quote facing forward.
• Glue the spacer pieces onto the back piece to create room for the door to slide.
• Attach the front door frame on top, securing everything in place.
Step4: Finish with a Bow! 🎀
Slide your door into the frame.
• Tie a ribbon through the heart at the top to hold everything together!
• When the ribbon is untied, the door can slide freely!
