When I did my vegan wishbone for the Thanksgiving Contest, I thought that the same geometries would also make a 7 layer wooden turkey. I have not done it, as we here in Germany celebrate thanksgiving quite different and a lot earlier (beginning ob October). So the photo of the final result is missing. Therefore it is for me more an inspiration as a how-to. Cut the pieces with the attached xcs file and color them according to this sceme:
