I used 1/4-inch walnut, padauk, and maple for this project. I created and sourced SVG images online, then used my D1 XTool Pro to cut out the Halloween decorations from the wood. To add contrast, I used different wood types for the details. After cutting an outline of each image, I glued the layers together. I then sanded the sides flush and smoothed the tops to create a seamless look. To enhance the wood’s natural beauty and make the coasters water-resistant, I applied Arm-R-Seal and Polycrylic. Finally, I cut and attached cork backing to the bottoms. The file I used is attached and you may want to adjust the settings for better results.
