Miniature Bench Press Assembly Instructions

Designed for Laser Cutting | DIY Wooden Model

Materials Needed:

Laser-cut wooden parts (pre-cut from design file)

Wood glue or super glue

Fine-grit sandpaper (optional for smooth edges)

Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare Your Parts

1. Carefully remove all laser-cut pieces from the wooden sheet.

2. Sand any rough edges with fine-grit sandpaper for a smooth finish.

3. Identify all components using the design reference image.

Step 2: Assemble the Bench Base

1. Locate the flat base plate with slot cutouts.

2. Attach the two vertical support arms into the corresponding slots on the base.

3. Apply a small amount of wood glue at each joint for extra strength.

4. Let the base dry for a few minutes before proceeding.

Step 3: Assemble the Weight Bar

  1. Secure the weight plates together using glue
  2. Ten slide them onto the end of the barbell
  3. Allow drying time before placing it onto the bench rack.

Step 4: Attach the Barbell Rack

1. Identify the slots at the top of the vertical arms where the barbell will rest.

2. Ensure the barbell fits snugly on the support hooks or in the designated notches.

3. Optionally, reinforce the rack with additional glue if necessary.

Step 5: Final Touches

If desired, apply a protective sealant or paint for a polished look.

Test the functionality by lifting the bar off the rack just like a real bench press, but for miniature strength!
