I made this necklace for my partner. He is amazing and this engraving is the exact sentiment I wanted to give to him.
The font is Beautica in size 10. I converted this to a path in case you didn't have that font.
Instruction
Step1: Setup
Open file and adjust if necessary to fit your jewellery. You may want to tape your jewellery to the baseplate if it is very lightweight.
- Measure distance to engraving surface from laser.
- Mark processing area. I created a guide to show my original pendant scale.
- Move and scale engraving file if needed. Ungroup with the guide square if necessary.
Step2: Check Settings
Using a 2W module on an S1, my settings were as listed.
You may need to find an equivalent for your machine if you have a different one.
Step3: Framing
Click ‘Process’ and note the processing time. If you have the same module, the processing time should be about 1 minute.
Click ‘Frame’ and check that the engraving is going to process in the centre of your jewellery.
If all looks good, then:
Step4: Press 'Start'
And push the button on your machine to process the engraving. Check that it has started where you want it and monitor for any changes while engraving.
Step5: Done!
It should look similar to my picture.
