Layered White / Black Elephant Gift Christmas Ornament

Hi!  

I suggest 1st to make copies of each element and paste them to either a new tab, or up out of the way.  

With copies made, it's fun to play with changing scores to engraves and vice-versa to get different results!
 

Take a close look at the screenshot in Step 1 before reading further to see if you can spot my mistake.



Leave an element on “ignore” and not realize it until AFTER you've pulled it out of the machine? Yah, I have! It's super-easy to use the positioning system to re-set your items, fix your boo-boos, and get back to making! 

Here I used the little dots on the ornaments to re-align my top layer piece because I left the cut circle turned off.  

Using the 2-point system really sets my mind at ease as a newbie to lasers. Adding a date to the hat, or phrases down the curves of the tree, even after taking it out of the machine, is really not a problem. No fear of hearing “ummm, could you add ….” from the other room happening here!
