Step1: Cut and Engrave
Preview
I'm using the P2s for this design. If using another machine chose the appropriate parameters to cut and engrave for your laser. Most lasers will cut black acrylic. You can also use basswood that has been painted with black acrylic paint if you wish.
Once the acrylic has been engraved it may not look that great, don't worry, all you have to do is give it a wash with some dish soap.
Add some cord or ribbon through the whole at the top and enjoy the ornament.
