      Create this cute magnet with wood and come photo vinyl sticker patper. 
    

Instruction

Step1: Prepping your material

  • Start out by sanding your wood very well.
  • In order for your print to come out well on wood you will need to prime with the a clear coat.
    • For this project. I used modge podge spray.

Step2: Masking your image

  • First start by bringing in the image you would like to use. 
    • you can do this by dragging the image over into XCS or just clicking the image icon in the upper left hand corner.
  • Drag the light blue object over on top of your image. 
    • Select both objects and click Create Mask on the top panel
  • Position your image the shape as desired and click done.

  • Place your the blue mat down on the base place and stick your vinyl sticker paper one top. 
  • Make sure you are in the inkjet printing setting in processing mode
  • Print your image.
  • Once its done DO NOT MOVE  your material
    • add your blade to the blade module
  • Change your module mode to Blade cut
    • Click Go to Process

  • Place your wood inside your machine
  • Make sure you are in the inkjet printing setting in processing mode
  • Print your image.
  • Once it's done DO NOT MOVE  your material
    • replace the inkjet module with the laser module
  • Change your module mode to lasering on flat surface
    • Click Go to Process
  • Laser your other solid piece as well now that the laser module is in.
    • You can change out the wood to some scrap piece if you wish.

  • Take your hat and spray it with a sealer. You can use the modge podge spray again here too.
  • Peel your vinyl sticker and place it on the half diameter piece like shown.
  • Now glue both the hat and the photo piece on to your backer piece
  • Turn your piece over and super glue your magnet to the project.
