Fall Harvest Coaster

1. Lightly sand both sides of coaster with 220 gritt sandpaper (in circular/random orbit motion).  Remove factory imperfections, and be careful around the edges, as to not damage the natural tree-bark.
2. Wipe clean with micro-fiber cloth.
3. Import laser settings (adjust as necessary to accomodate for your laser, ventilation and circumstances).
4. Process your settings (double check the thickness of your coaster and material settings) and center your coaster on the laser bed.
5. Double check/refresh your camera view with image overlay.
6. Double check that your laser is focused.
7. Double check that your ventilation system is on.
8. Hit “START”
9. Stay close to the machine, as this is a flamable material.
10. Once laser processing is complete, take your piece to a well ventilated area and give it 2-3 coats of appropriate spray sealant (I used Mod Podge Gloss-Clear Acrylic Sealer).  Don't go too heavy on the coats, and give each application proper time to dry.  DO NOT RUSH THESE STEPS!  

(Note:  Take it one step further by adding a few adhesive backed felt pads on the underside;)
