Information

      Elegant, curved 3D decorative vase in a modern slat design. A real eye-catcher for the living room, dining table or shelf - ideal for dried flowers, artificial plants, fairy lights or as a stylish cover around a narrow glass/test tube. 

This is our own original design, precisely engineered and optimized for 3.0 mm material thickness. 

Design: Organically shaped 3D vase with waist and upper chalice collar

Material: Perfectly designed for 3.0 mm wood (poplar plywood, birch plywood, MDF, HDF or acrylic)

Mounting: Plug-in system with inner centering rings (tip: A household elastic around the waist makes it much easier to insert the slats)

Note: Pure decorative object made of wood, not waterproof! 

Note on the accuracy of fit (Kerf & Material): 

Wood is a natural product with natural strength fluctuations depending on the manufacturer and batch. In addition, each laser has an individual cutting gap (kerf). If the slots on your material are a little too tight or too loose, adjust the cutting gap/offset in your laser program minimally, sand briefly with fine sandpaper if necessary or use a drop of wood glue.

Instruction

Step1: Assembling the 3D decorative vase

Prepare rings:

Have the inner retaining rings ready: the closed bottom plate for the bottom, the middle ring for the waist/narrowing and the upper ring for the vase neck.

Fix the basic framework (cross-mount):

First insert 3 to 4 slats crosswise (each opposite) into the slots of the three rings (bottom, middle, neck). This gives the vase its basic tension directly and prevents it from falling over.

Rubber band trick to help you assemble

Place a simple household elastic band around the narrowest part (waist) of the slats that have already been inserted. This keeps the rings stable in place.

Insert the remaining slats:

Now push the remaining slats around the rubber band piece by piece under the rubber band into the slots of the bottom, middle and neck ring.

Fixing & completion:

As soon as all slats are inserted and evenly engaged, you can remove the rubber band. If necessary, secure the connections at the slots with a tiny drop of wood glue.

Important note about use:
This is a pure wooden decorative object and not waterproof. Perfect for dried flowers, artificial plants, fairy lights or as a stylish planter/cover around a matching narrow glass (such as a test tube or thin drinking glass).
