two slates well cleaned with isopropyl alcohol to remove all traces, a good photo setting because without it it doesn't work, the AI - pixella - sculptock helped me very well in the settings, first slate 55 minutes of engraving with automatic adjustment only the settings are in the files and for the 2nd slate also in automatic adjustment only.
I put a layer of edible oil because it's to be in contact with the food its dark a little so I planned this in my settings so as not to lose the small details, so you shouldn't hesitate to make intense blacks.
The first one easily took 1 hour and the 2nd 1h15 mn
