Information

      I created this autumnal motif with Atomm and engraved it on a wooden disc with the xTool S1. The project came about after my attempt to sublimate the wooden disc didn't work.

Instruction

Step1: Engraving

For this project, I originally wanted to try out whether a wooden disc could be sublimated with the xTool WonderPress. For this I treated the surface with sublimation spray and let it dry overnight. Unfortunately, the result was not as hoped.

Instead of throwing away the wooden disc, I created the motif with Atomm and optimized it for laser engraving. Then I engraved it on the back of the wooden disc with my xTool S1.

I think the engraved result turned out even more beautiful than my original idea. Sometimes the best projects emerge from small failures. I wish you a lot of fun imitating it!
